Both of my books are about empowering women. My first book was a nonfiction based on my life. My most recent book is a suspense Black-sci-fi. I’m very proud of being a crossover genre writer.

What advice would you give to new or aspiring authors?
Remember why you’re sharing your story and keep going! Tune out the distractions and the doubts. (Every author experiences it you’re not alone!) Trust that you are doing something great that will live beyond you and someone needs what you’re creating.
