In a few sentences, tell us about yourself and your writing journey?
I’m an urban fiction and romance author who writes gritty, cinematic stories about power, love, obsession, and survival. My writing journey started with a need to tell raw, unfiltered stories that center Black characters navigating complex emotions, street realities, and high-stakes relationships. Over time, my work has grown into interconnected worlds and series that blend drama, heat, and heart, always focused on flawed characters finding themselves in the chaos.

What advice would you give to new or aspiring authors?
Write the story you would stay up all night reading. Don’t chase trends or write what you think will sell because readers can feel when a story isn’t honest. Protect your voice, even while you’re still learning the craft. Consistency will take you further than perfection, and discipline matters more than motivation. Finish the book. Then learn the business. Editing, covers, marketing, and reader trust are just as important as talent. Stay humble, stay hungry, and don’t let numbers or opinions stop you from telling the stories you were meant to tell.
Is there anything else you would like readers to know?
I want readers to know that when you pick up one of my books, you’re not just getting a story, you’re stepping into a world. I write with intention, emotion, and respect for the reader’s time. Every scene matters, every character has a purpose, and nothing is thrown in just to fill pages. I also want readers to know that I appreciate them deeply. Every read, every message, every review helps me keep doing what I love. I write for the ones who like their stories raw, immersive, and honest and I don’t take that support lightly.
